It was a rainy day in the metro which led a hefty traffic. Instead I will be dropping by to see my wife in the business district, she told me to meet her at Scarsdale along Shaw Boulevard.
The question is why on that area?
This answer to my question.
The restaurant is picture perfect for me to play around with different shots. What more, the food around are enticing for dinner and some desserts.
Even it is quaint in architecture, the place is boost with industrial homely interior. My wait for her was productive since I got the chance to charge my gadgets where electrical outlets were available around.

The name took from a small town village in New York City that is recognized to be upscale. Aimed to offer the same upscale yet artisan quality, Scarsdale offers donuts, croughnuts and dishes that reflect quality in taste, ensuring a unique charm to each palate. Each were designed intrinsically that made it high-quality not only in ingredients and filling. What more, the price is also affordable ranging from P 40.00 to P 70.00 each.
My sweet tooth cannot resist to taste this walnut croughnut called Carlo’s Favorite. Walnut in any dessert would always be my no. 1 comfort indulgence which I found to be very nutty and crunchy in flavor when I started to bite them.
Since we were killing time with the rain outside, a treat for their savory dishes are a must-try.
I was excited with their burger as this was highly recommended when we asked them the best-sellers among the sandwiches. The juiciness of the patty is visible. The fries is an extra treat which came to us crispy and oozed up with freshness in each stick.
Some of the food worth a try were this Italian Spaghetti Bolognese where sauce was very rich. The garlic doughnut was bit already heavy. Still the crunchiness was visible once you take a bite.
For my wife, she still stick to her alternative healthy meal like the Caesar Salad, Tomato Soup and Hot Pot Chicken. You can check her food experience in her blog with Foods On The Spot.
Another one was the Croque Madame, a ham sandwich topped with fresh tomatoes, parmesan cheese sauce with fried egg.
We bought the croughnuts and doughnuts at home after I have those enough time to took those angle shots. The 8-donuts box cost only P 400.00 with good packaging sturdy box.
Honestly, my kiddos were excited with the new creations that they have tasted. One thing for sure, we will bring them to indulge also to those brilliant meal.
