I got an early Valentine sweet delectable treat at Rome’s Patisserie – variety of brownies and cupcakes I feasted in one seating.
Located at 2nd floor University Mall ,Vito Cruz, Taft Avenue at De La Salle University, Rome’s Patisserie is a new kiosk that offers different pastries ranging from brownies, cupcakes, cheesecake and cookies.
All of them are custom bake to make it a fresh delighted offer to their customers. The price is quite affordable that let the students can reasonably buy each goodies.
For the brownies, selection of Revel Bar, Cream Cheese, Walnut and Food for the Gods are some of their offers. Revel Bar and Walnut stand more for me as the same also with my daughters when I bought them home as treats. It is chewy. We love also the pudginess and softness.
First time to heard about Brookies which is in the middle – combination of brownies and a cookie baked into one.
Their newest pastry which is Eclair is made with soft dough filled with cream custard inside and topped with chocolate ganash.
They have also cupcake offerings like Chocolate Kitkat, Red Velvet, Carrot, Choco Banana and Dulce de Leche. I have tasted the Chocolate KitKat. I love the consistency frosting taste while the bread is soft and moist.
For the Cheesecake, they have Blueberry and Red Velvet. This will have a chance for me to come back again as I will have to try this one for treats.
Overall, the sweet temptation for that day is fully satisfied as all its unique experience for each bite is an indulgence.
Hoping that they will retain the quality taste of their pastries as days comes by.
