I know I am more of a photographer than a foodie. But who will not resist food at Tempura Japanese Grill w/ bunch of goodness?
We have an opportunity to eat at their branch in Alabang Town Center located near the ground floor cinema. With the earth interior surrounded by brown color around, the place got this zen cozy dining experience atmosphere.
Pork chop would always be a favorite family meal and I wonder why, there is an ongoing craze about Tonkatsu.
Actually, this is my first time to try varieties of katsu. I don’t know with my wife because even without us, she loves to try different food especially if its a hype or a fad.
With those different katsu, I was delighted to feast on the freshness of the salmon katsu. I cannot eat more with Unagi which is an eel, too small bites considering this has the highest price of them all.
Now I know the difference of our traditional pork chop compared to Kurobuta Katsu (Pork).
The meat is big enough for sharing. It has this soft and tender texture inside with those juicy meat. It is dry and not oily which not messy to eat when picking it one by one. The crust of the crispy flakes is just enough to crunch on each mouth.

Best partner with all those katsu is their Kaisen Raisu. I thought this is the same with chow fan. It has this mixture of sweet and spiciness topped with dory, shrimps, scallops and veggies.
For drinks, we opted for healthy and fruity alternative – the Cucumber and Banana Shake.
I was already satisfied with our meal, when our fellow foodie recommended that we have to try Ramen Burger.
It is a burger where pan-fried ramen used as buns. This meal is too filling and extravagant in nature – large beef patties, bacon, teriyaki sauce, onions with the freshness of lettuce.

While chilling out, we feast with Makimono Party Platter consist of different mixed of maki – California and Hawaiian.

Coffee Jelly is a cupful of little sweet to serve as we end all those sumptuous meal. The squared jellies are layered below with vanilla ice cream topped with chocolate bits that make an end treat to all of us.
