This is my photography sharing why I am honed to take my hobby to the next level – that is capturing everywhere the beauty of Philippines.   I just took pictures.  But then I realized there were always a beauty behind it especially  places around the Philippines.  People do not realized how wonderful our country is.  This is my way on supporting how we can love our own country for just sharing the wondrous places our family been.

Last January 22, we witnessed the launching of Enchanted Kingdom and Coca-Cola partnership entitled  – Refreshing Magical Moments with Coca-Cola only @ EK.

A red letter day as Enchanted Kingdom transformed into a refreshing ensemble of their newest official beverage sponsor, Coca-Cola.

To add more excitement and celebrate Chinese New Year, there was a parade of characters from Eldar the Wizard, EK mascots, Dragon and Lion Dances, pandas, terracota soldiers and Wushu Exhibitions.  Me, getting pictures  while my wife was busy watching the said parade.

Aside from the parade, we got to enjoy different rides as we braced ourselves to fun, fun adventure.

For the launching, Enchanted Kingdom and Coca Cola gave away free Coke products to the first two hundred lucky park guests.

Last January 15, SM North Edsa opened its celebration of Chinese New Year 2012 at the Atrium, The Block. With the theme of the Water Dragon, the event was hosted by Chris Tiu doing some story telling which Richard Yap (Papa Chen in tele-series “Binondo Girl”) acted the Chinese Emperor.

There were wushu demo, dragon/lion dance, and singing choir that gracefully showcased and complimented the whole Chinese Culture.

I cannot pick the best picture that I have got during the said event.  What I will be sharing to you were the complete coverage.

Our family got the opportunity to witness the first IMAX 3D in the south located at SM Southmall Cinema at the 3rd level.

With the IMAX 3D Theatre, we see more, hear more, feel more – an ultimate & most immerse cinematic movie experience one can imagine as if you become part of the movie.

SM Southmall & IMAX Theatre presented a special advanced screening of Adventures of Tintin to let customers experience the excellent movie quality in IMAX.

Adventures of Tintin is directed by Oscar winning director Steven Spielberg and Oscar winning producer Peter Jackson: an epic, globe-hopping quest with one-of-a-kind mix of action, humor and scintillating tale spin in a 3D motion picture event.

The premier of The Adventures of Tintin is just one of the many blockbuster movies that SM Southmall had lined up for the South Metro Manila residents.

I have attended the biggest fashion event in the south metro last November 18 featuring holiday collection at the main hallway, ground level of SM Southmall.

SM Southmall Runway Picks is all about celebrating the holidays in style for South Metro residents that showcased its holiday collection for men, ladies, teens and kids.

Now Christmas is really in the air! SM City Calamba marked the beginning of the Yuletide season by showcasing the Giant Christmas Ball Centerpiece last November 12, 2011 at the Mall Atrium.

With Calamba City’s Brass Brand and choirs who performed the famous SM Christmas ChriSMs jingle, visit and feel this year’s jolly season at SM City Calamba.

There will be extended mall hours on all weekends of November until 10 PM and all days of December.

Last September 24, family have the time to do some bonding at Nuvali, Laguna and found out that there were events around.

There was this activity called – Nuvali Cup 2011: Legends Rising – an annual event designed to promote healthy active living through outdoor sports and encourage sports excellence featuring different schools and leagues battling it out in football, baseball, and touch football.

Have seen different clubs and schools competing like De La Salle Zobel, Paref Southridge, Paref Woodrose,  Ateneo De Manila,  Canlubang Little League, De La Salle Lipa, Alabang Tigers, Brent, UP Diliman, Faith Academy, Nomads, Makati Football School, Manila Soccer Academy and more.

The event also featured performances from the Freestylers and key members of the country’s national teams the Baseball Philippines, Philippine Azkals, and Philippine Volcanoes who lead the sports code pledge during the opening ceremony.

This event featured over a thousand sports legends in the making where our family enjoyed watching epic sports fest battling to win the Nuvali Cup.

This is my first time to attend a liquor event that would meet personally the endorser, Borgy Manotoc at the Wine Museum in Pasay City.

This event would also remind me how to drink responsibly and must be served to 18 years of age to consume the product.

On August 25, 2011, I have attended the The Great Night Market at Venice Piazza Mckinley Hill The Fort to try the culinary genius of over 50 budding food businesses.

Anyway, these were the food I can recommend:

There is Brazo Bars with their very own Brazo de Mercedes and Chocolate Cookies

Available also were assorted desserts from MedChef.

Fried dishes like chicharon bulaklak, chickens and dipped crunchy bacon sliced pork to hopped in.

One can also found isaw as the famous street food while roaming around.

This is Korea’s most famous dish Bibimbap from K-Bop Dinner.

There were also tacos to share.

Fruitas also has this famous buko halo-halo.

Even all the resto were close, employees and folks nearby can celebrate amazing food with abundance at The Great Night Market from 10:00pm to 4:00am from Mondays to Thursdays.

This time, one can enjoy the festive atmosphere of “Baratillo” at night in the sophisticated open grounds of Venice Piazza by Megaworld.
